Qi Ding (B.Med & M.Med in TCM; B.App.Sc UUSyd; MANTA & MFCMA)
Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner.
I am an experienced Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner with more than 10 years clinical experience in both China and Australia. I have received a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chinese Medicine from two renowned Chinese Medical universities and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Sydney. This extensive education and experience has given me unique and wide-ranging insight into the broad applicability of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
I will address your health issues with an holistic approach, incorporating acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition and life-style counseling. If you are struggling with a health problem, this may mean your body's natural self-healing mechanisms are not functioning properly. Chinese medicine and acupuncture work by assisting and promoting your body's natural healing mechanisms and correcting biochemical imbalances.
Chinese medicine and acupuncture are becoming increasingly popular in the West due to their effectiveness, preventative qualities and lack of adverse side-effects. The World Health Organisation has endorsed acupuncture treatment for over 40 conditions, including stress, digestive disorders, depression, allergies, sleeping disorders, addictions, headaches and menstrual disorders.
I am dedicated to the holistic care of patients by providing gentle, safe and effective acupuncture treatment and prescribing effective Chinese herbal medicine. My goal is to maintain a high quality of service, and this is achieved through continually learning and expanding my skills. I regularly read acupuncture and Chinese medicine journals in order to study both classical and newer forms of acupuncutre. I keep informed on the latest research and continue to maintain close relationships with practitioners in China.
Over the years, I have treated patients with numerous conditions. Although I have a special interest in women's health, including irregular periods, infertility and miscarriage, menopause and hormonal problems, my practice is by no means limited to women's health exclusively. I have treated patients for numerous other conditions from chronic fatigue syndrome, pain relief, injuries, anxiety and depression, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic asthma, weight loss, headache, sinus, arthritis, stress and nervous system problems.
As an Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, I have seen many cases of healing. I invite you to experience the transformative experience of Chinese Medicine, which has been proven and tested for five thousand years and which has changed the lives of so many.
